Beauty Treatments and Epilepsy

Next week (18-25 May) is National Epilepsy Week, so it's timely that the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Association (Habia) and Epilepsy Action are working together to produce guidelines to help beauty therapists to deal better with epileptic clients. This follows concerns that epileptic clients have been refused beauty treatments because of possible contraindications. To read more, go to the Habia site and follow the News and Events link, then click on Press Releases- you can also find out about National Epilepsy Week here.
