Journals Area at Summer Row If you've just returned from the Easter break and are intending to use the journals at Summer Row Library you will find that they are no longer next to the group work area on the ground floor. The journals have been relocated to the upper floor of the library, to enable upgrading of the group work area

FHT 2010 Conference Complementary Therapies and The Pregnant Client is a one-day conference taking place at The King's Fund, London, on 24 September 2010 and will address the latest research, best practice and issues for therapists practising or considering practising on pregnant clients. Afro Hair and Beauty Live The 2010 Afro Hair and Beauty Liveevent will be taking place on Sunday 30th and Monday 31st May (bank holiday day) at the Business Design Centre, London. The World's Strangest Plastic Surgery A tv programme that might be of interest is showing tonight (12 April) at 10:00pm - 11:05pm on Channel 4- The World's Strangest Plastic Surgery and Me. This includes a man who has spent the last 20 years undergoing surgery so he can resemble a tiger.
I am the Subject Librarian for Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, Specialist Hair and Media Make-up, Sports Therapy, Sport and Fitness Studies and Sports Management and have been working at UCB since 1999. I spent several years working as a ladies hairdresser and have also worked in retail and managed a staff restaurant.
