Enter The (English) Dragon...


April 23 is St George's Day, the patron saint of England -and a few other countries. If you want to read more have a look at this BBC web page , the St George's Day website , or to see details of events around the country try this link St George's Day Events


Another English person of note,
William Shakespeare, died on this day in 1616, and is said to have also been born on this day. As far as I know he has no connection with St George, but is always worth a mention (in my opinion, anyway).
